This is a work I’d done in 2011. I’ve been doing abstracts since 2004. I enjoy acrylics as a medium as it is very versatile and can be used like watercolour or oil paint, though it dries much faster, which is actually a great advantage. It lends itself well to a spontaneous, intuitive creative process.
A very interesting quality of this medium is that it creates different textures on each surface, which allows for endless possibilities.
